The atmosphere is an eclectic blend of vibrant colors, from the lime green patio chairs outside to the bright pink and red booths in the dining room. Catch 122 opened up in 2012 and it resides in a century old building on 122 West Hastings Street, factors that both played a role in the naming of this cafe and bistro. Everything here is made in-house, from the food, prepared with locally sourced ingredients, to the tables, bar, and seating banquette, designed and built by the owners themselves. The menu features mouthwatering creations prepared from the classic breakfast staples and lovingly crafted into innovative masterpieces.
Jam Cafe is an all-day breakfast and lunch cafe with one location in Victoria, one on Beatty Street in Vancouver, and on in Vancouver’s Kitsilano area. You’ll find Southern favours in the dishes here, such as house made cornbread, buttermilk biscuits, and fried chicken. Try the huevos rancheros or chicken chilaquiles for a little spice, or Maggie’s S’more Pancakes for some sweetness. The atmosphere is homey and warm, a little rustic, and always inviting.
