Top 10 Vancouver Family Friendly Activities

Vancouver is known for being a family-friendly city with a variety of fun-filled things to see and do, so take the kids out for a day of family excitement next time you’re in town. You can choose to hang out at the pool, take a SeaBus or go learn something new in the city. From animals to museums, there is a lot for your family to experience and enjoy in and around Vancouver.

Kitsilano Pool

This pool is Canada’s longest pool at 137 metres, and is located at 2305 Cornwall Avenue in the neighbourhood of Kitsilano. Every summer the kids love this heated outdoor pool with easy beach access while the parents enjoy sitting in the sun, supervising and relaxing. Take the kids for the day and get some sun!

Vancouver Museum

Located at 1100 Chestnut Street, this museum is a fabulous place to take the kids and educate them while they have some fun. Stanley Park

Known as a family-friendly attraction, Stanley Park has loads of activities for families to enjoy. Stanley Park has over 1,000 acres to explore and this attraction is a favourite among tourists and locals alike. With trolley rides, the Vancouver Aquarium and three beaches, there is no shortage of family fun. Kids and adults can take a swim at Second Beach and then grab a hotdog or ice cream at the nearby kiosk. There is also a miniature train and farmyard for children to visit where they can see over 200 birds, animals, and reptiles. Vancouver Aquarium
