Vancouver Attractions Overview

Vancouver is a city filled with wilderness and exciting things to do and see. Vancouver is a beautiful place to explore, whether it is in the historic areas of the city or on the grass or sand of Vancouver’s many parks and beaches. From mountains to sea, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors can enjoy the beach and ski the slopes on the same day. If you are into skiing you will be only minutes from Grouse Mountain, Cypress Mountain and Mount Seymour. Make sure you visit famed Whistler, where you can enjoy some of the best skiing in the world! One of the best places for a great view is the Harbour Centre Tower, where you can hang out on the observation deck and gaze out over the city from every angle.

Stanley Park is a famous attraction and home to many beaches, restaurants and gardens. It also hosts the Vancouver Aquarium, which has over 7000 species, including Beluga Whales and Sea Otters. If you’re into art then you will love a visit to Burnaby Village Museum or the Vancouver Art Gallery in downtown Vancouver. History buffs can explore Chinatown and historic Gastown, the birthplace of Vancouver. Children and adults alike will love a visit to Science World, Granville Island, Canada Place, Capilano Suspension Bridge and the H.R MacMillan Space Centre. There are so many attractions to experience in Vancouver, visitors will never get bored!
