Stanley Park

Stanley Park is made up of over 1,000 acres of gorgeous lush rainforest and is situated on the west side of the city of Vancouver. This park is one of the largest in North America and it attracts people from all over the world. When you enter the park you will see many people walking, hiking, jogging and rollerblading on the pathways. It is a great place to go to for a picnic, a romantic walk or to take scenic photos. Stanley Park has a variety of activities and things to see such as the Vancouver Aquarium, Brockton Point, totem poles, wildlife, lagoons, gardens and lush greenery. There is also the Fish House Restaurant, the Sequoia Grill and a gift shop to explore. This park is extremely family-friendly and kids can enjoy a miniature train ride, the Children’s Farmyard, the public pool at Second Beach and a spray park where they can splash around with their friends. During the winter and around Christmas time families can ride the Bright Nights Christmas Train and see thousands of twinkling lights spread throughout this grand forest.
