Robson Street

One of the best places to shop in Vancouver is the world famous Robson Street shopping strip. Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, it connects the West End to Yaletown on the east. It is one long stretch of popular shops, restaurants, bars, department stores and more. People travel from all over the globe to do some shopping on this street and you can walk up and down and people-watch all day long. Make sure you taste one of Vancouver’s finest vendor hot dogs too!

People can enjoy designer brand name stores such as Gucci, Bebe, Aldo, Armani Exchange, Banana Republic, Gap, Club Monaco, MAC Cosmetics and more. There is a store for everyone and every type of budget. If makeup is your thing, then visit the Body Shop or find discount cosmetics at London Drugs.

Looking for casual wear? Try out some of the less-expensive stores on Robson Street such as Off the Wall, Le Chateau, Winners and American Eagle Outfitters. There are also children’s fashions to be found at such places like Roots Canada, Winners and GAP kids. Robson Street can get extremely packed on the weekends, so if you prefer more space and you have the time, try to hit this area on weekdays when it is a little calmer.

If you get hunger pains while you are shopping, try out some of the restaurants on the strip. CinCin Ristorante, Earl’s on Top, Milestone’s and the Cactus Club are just a few of the many places to eat on Robson Street. Depending on your particular tastes, you can also satisfy cravings for Indian, Mexican, Japanese, Italian, Middle-Eastern, Chinese or Thai food, all within a few blocks.
