Robson Street Shopping
Robson Street is home to some of the best shopping in Vancouver, British Columbia. There are a wide variety of shops that are suitable for every type of budget and shopping taste. This is one of the most popular shopping strips in the world and there are not only clothing stores, but also fine dining, coffee shops, cafés, pharmacies and bars. When traveling around the city make sure to visit Robson Street and explore all of what it has to offer. Stop and have a coffee at Starbucks, enjoy tasty Italian food at Cin Cin Ristorante, or shop in one of the large department stores at the Granville Street intersection.
Robson Street is located in the core of downtown Vancouver and is the main shopping strip in the city. There isn't really any point in driving to Robson Street, as parking is scarce and you don't want to get a ticket. You can catch public transport, walk, or take a ride on the SkyTrain to get there. Ask anybody and they will surely help you with some directions to Robson Street. Weekends tend to be extremely packed and walking along Robson Street might get a bit frustrating. It is great for people-watching if you are sitting at Moxie's Classic Grill or the Cactus Club, though! Try to go and explore the street on the weekdays, so you can get some proper shopping done without the hustle and bustle. Check out Joe Fortes Seafood, a Taste of India or Earls on Top for some fantastic dishes.
Stores worth mentioning are Armani, American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic, London Drugs, Gap, Virgin Records, Gucci, M.A.C, Levi's, Lush, Tommy Hilfiger, Payless Shoes, Bebe and Roots Canada. If you are looking for budget deals then head to London Drugs where you can buy makeup on special, as well as many snacks and electronics. There are also many souvenir stores, beauty salons, jewelery and eyeglass stores; and don't miss out on a visit to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. What a tasty treat!
