Creative Wedding Ideas for Vancouver

Harbours – Vancouver is home to dozens of marinas; granted some are located further out of town but some are right in the heart of the city.  Why not say your vows in a peaceful and beautiful setting, unique only to a city situated on the water.

Granville Island – Where else can you say “I do”, enjoy some of the best cuisine in Vancouver, take ocean side photos and celebrate on a party cruise all without driving anywhere?  Granville Island has it all. No one else will have photos that even close to the ones you would have taken here.

Beach – Which one to choose?  There are dozens of beaches in Vancouver.  Depending on how many witnesses and spectators you want, you can opt for a more secluded beach or a popular beach like Kits or Jericho.  If you really wanted to stir things up, head down to Wreck Beach and get married in your birthday suits!

Inukshuk – One of Vancouver’s most noticeable and breathtaking landmarks, the giant Inukshuk located in English Bay is the perfect backdrop for a West Coast wedding.  Nothing says Vancouver like this!

Rain – How about an outdoor rainy day wedding, planned on purpose!  We all know it rains here for months on end so why not embrace it and get married outside (with shelter of course). Give the guests customer made umbrellas upon arrival, offer shawls for the ladies, place a few outdoor heaters in the tent (safely of course) and cozy up to your fiancée under the romantic pitter patter of Vancouver’s sky.
