Vancouver is primarily known as a “clubber’s paradise”, but there are also many pubs and bars for people to enjoy in the downtown and surrounding areas. Vancouver has many cool bars for visitors and locals to enjoy, and many of them are tucked away in unlikely places. If you keep your eyes open when you are strolling around the city, you will be able to see numerous pubs and bars hidden in between hotels, local businesses and shops. Because the social scene is so casual in Vancouver, the pub life is appealing as you don’t have to dress up every time you go out on the town. You can sit on a patio and stare at the stars while having a blast with your buddies. Some bars feature more of a singles scene, while others are better for a gathering with close friends. Yaletown Brewery
This cool hangout is a great spot to sit, watch a Canucks game and enjoy some excellent appetizers. The Granville Room

The Loose Moose is a very popular bar to hang out at. It is great for mingling, relaxing with friends, and listening to music while a Canucks game is on. This bar is great for seafood, dancing, dining and patio views. They open up the dance floor later in the evening when the sun begins to set over downtown Vancouver.
